How it works

When the raffle was created we picked a secret 32 byte seed and published its sha256 fingerprint above. Changing the seed later would change the fingerprint.

Each draw step sorts the entries by id, writes each one as id:tickets, and hashes the list. Random numbers come from sha256(seed:list hash:step label:counter), 52 bits at a time, and a pick lands on an entry in proportion to its tickets.

Once winners are announced the seed is published. The button above checks the fingerprint and re-runs every step. Rerolls are their own steps: the host chooses who to replace, the seed chooses who replaces them.
